I first found out about it at Ponn's blog when I was doing my daily reading routine. :) But at the time, I did not know what it was. I stated the same thing when I commented over there.
So, what is it? What is Kirtsy all about? Well, here is a small definition...
Plain and simple, Kirtsy is the female version of Digg. Kirtsy is the place to find and/or link to anything and everything on the Web that you’d like to share with other women. If Kirtsy users like what you submit, they’ll vote for it. The more votes, the more likely your link will make it to the front page. Links on the front page are seen by everybody and get lots of love. The front page content is ever-changing and always cool.
Ok. Great. I love it. And they're using Pligg. Awesome. I think this new community is going to get alot of attention. From the looks of it, they already have, and there may be more on the way. The design is awesome as well. But what I want to point you to are the contests and giveaways they are having. Just by linking to them and emailing them about it, you can be entered to win many nifty prizes. As you can see, I have, but there are many other badges you can use. All of them are awesome in their own right.
